Always look on the bright side of life
The Art to
Convey Emotions
Cinema has
been present since ever in all our lives, especially in mine.
When I was
a child, I spent long hours in front of television with my granpa watching WW2
and western movies ("The Good, The Bad and the Ugly", "Valkyrie",
“Schindler’s List”) which encouraged my love for history and politics,
meanwhile at the weekend my dad and I watched Chilean cinema.
As I grew,
my interest in cinema increased until I created and directed some sketches
about life situations with my close friends.
My preferred
genres are comedy, sci-fi, gangster but now, I'd like to talk about one of my
favourites movies of all time.
Monty Python’s Life of Brian
The film
tells the story of Brian Cohen (played by Graham Chapman), a
young Jewish man who is born on the same day as—and next door to—Jesus
Christ and is subsequently mistaken for the Messiah.
Life of Brian is a delightful film for those of us who enjoy absurd humor, cultural
references and a jolly and mock satire on the foundations of the Catholic
religion, in addition to having one of my favorite musicians as producer and
extra of the film, the beatle George Harrison.
